EVENTS
A visit to the Ludowy Theatre
It’s difficult to imagine the world without Andersen’s fairy tales. Thanks to them, children learn important values. Students of classes 4a and 4b went on a journey to the land of the Snow Queen. Alongside Gerda, they searched for Kay and discovered the true power of love.
STARS – art workshop
While waiting for Spring, students of the first grade and class 2a took part in an art workshop conducted by Mr Maciej Skinderowicz. Children made colourful T-shirts promoting cycling.
Valentine’s Day mail 💕💌💕

Because February 14th falls during the winter break this year, the Student Council organised Valentine’s Day mail a bit earlier. All of the students in our school enjoy sending each other nice letters every year. J.O. |
Sporty carnival
On Fat Thursday, second-grade students celebrated carnival by going roller skating. Children had a lot of fun trying roller skating for the first time, or practicing it. Parents organised a surprise for the students and brought yummy doughnuts to celebrate the tradition of Fat Thursday.
Carnival at the Museum of Illusions
Class 5b decided to go to a Museum of Illusion to celebrate carnival in an atypical way. On the first floor of the museum, the students saw optical illusions and on the second floor, they saw physical illusions. Thanks to our guide, Mr. Filip, we learned about many interesting phenomena.
A visit to the school library
Students of class 4b visited the school library during a Polish lesson. With Mrs Mariola's help, they learned the difference between an alphabetical catalogue and a subject catalogue. They listened to the information about library collections, looked through magazines and found out what a reference catalogue is with great interest. They also took a virtual tour of the online catalogue. At the end of the meeting, they received bookmarks for the newly borrowed books.
Class1A - "Festina lente"
Class 1a made projects connected with time. First, we learned to tell the time on our handmade clocks. Then, together we figured out the order of the months. In smaller groups, students worked on a page from the calendar. Finally, we talked about the things we learned during the project.
A carnival ball
Students of class 4b celebrated the end of the carnival by having fun together. They prepared costumes and some sweet treats. Zosia and Staś told the students about the carnival traditions around the world. They also made a quiz. All of the students made colourful puppets and had fun dancing.
Cultural studies workshop
Today, class 2a had the pleasure of attending a workshop on celebrating the new year in China. The children learned how to use chopsticks, looked at books written in Chinese and various other artefacts, watched the dance of two tigers and learned to wish a happy new year in Chinese. We would like to thank Ms Ewa for sharing her knowledge with us in such an interesting way.
